KUALA LUMPUR: A Bersatu member of parliament has condemned the use of the term "Dajjal" against 13 lawmakers who signed a Confidence and Supply Agreement (CSA) with the government.

Datuk Mohd Suhaimi Abdullah (PN-Langkawi), one of the signatories, questioned how national unity could be achieved when opposition MPs seeking cooperation were subjected to such labels.

"How can we achieve national unity when we (opposition MPs) who signed the agreement are called Dajjal? This is deeply saddening.

"Yesterday, when I returned home, my children asked me about Dajjal. I told them, 'God knows best. I am still studying what Dajjal means," he said while debating the 2027 Budget at the committee stage for the National Unity Ministry in the Dewan Rakyat today.
