Carlsberg Malaysia clarified that while it has a regional partnership with Hyrox in Asia, covering selected events in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Vietnam, it will not be involved in Malaysia. (Bernama pic)PETALING JAYA: Carlsberg will not be involved in Hyrox’s upcoming Malaysian race from Dec 10 to 13, according to the international fitness competition’s Malaysian chapter.
In a statement posted on Instagram today, Hyrox Malaysia said it should have “given greater consideration to the religious beliefs and cultural values of our Malaysian community”.
“We got this wrong, and we take responsibility for that. Together with Carlsberg, we have made the decision not to extend the partnership to the Malaysia race.
