Nvidia's flagship GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card now sells for more than $9,000 in the United States, according to an analysis by TechSpot reported by eTeknix. That is a 370% increase over its original recommended price. Other cards in the RTX 50 line have also gotten far more expensive, though reports differ on how much and on what is driving each figure.

The reports appeared on Nov. 3. Most of the numbers describe what retailers and resellers charge, not a price set by Nvidia.

eTeknix, citing TechSpot, said the card's U.S. price is up 370% from its recommended retail price, or MSRP, and up an average of 262% worldwide. The outlet said the card was already selling for around $3,000 at the end of last year, and that its U.S. price rose 36% in the last month alone.
