PETALING JAYA: The Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk) will receive RM5 million under Budget 2027 to build a 2.16km main access road linking Silver Valley Technology Park (SVTP) to Jalan A1 Jelapang-Chemor.
Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir said the new project was among two physical developments for PKNPk, with a total allocation of RM18 million next year.
In his winding-up speech on the Economy Ministry’s Budget 2027 committee-stage debate in the Dewan Rakyat today, he said a further RM13 million would be allocated for the ongoing development of SVTP’s first and second phases in Kanthan, Kinta.
The additional funding is for the continuation of the SVTP development project, which began in 2026.
