Opposition MPs criticised the absence of the Health Minister and deputy during Dewan Rakyat question time, leaving a Wangsa Maju healthcare query unanswered.
KUALA LUMPUR: The absence of both the Health Minister and Deputy Health Minister during the Dewan Rakyat question-and-answer session on Nov 5 left a question on healthcare facilities in Wangsa Maju unanswered, drawing criticism from opposition MPs.
Deputy Speaker Alice Lau announced that neither minister was present when Question 3 was called, prompting objections from lawmakers who questioned their absence from parliamentary proceedings.
“For Question 3, neither the minister nor the deputy minister is present in the House,” she said before proceeding to the next question.
