Melaka Hospital will soon get biplane angiography equipment and an invasive cardiac lab so patients need not travel out of state for heart and brain treatment.
MELAKA: The Melaka Hospital will soon receive biplane angiography equipment and an invasive cardiac laboratory (ICL) facility to strengthen its capacity in providing specialised treatment services related to heart, blood vessel and brain diseases, thereby reducing the need for patients to seek treatment at hospitals outside the state.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said that the Letter of Acceptance (SST) for the supply of the biplane angiography equipment is expected to be issued tomorrow if no objections are received today, while the SST for the ICL facility is expected to be issued before the end of this month.
