KUALA LUMPUR: The investigation papers on the incident involving Malaysia Border Control and Protection Agency (MCBA) director-general Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain will be handed over to the Attorney-General's Chambers tomorrow.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail said the investigation papers would be referred for further review, advice and instructions, in accordance with Article 145(3) of the Federal Constitution.
"So far, statements have been recorded from 25 witnesses, comprising police officers and personnel, MCBA officers, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) auxiliary policemen, baggage handling system workers, medical officers and independent witnesses," he said in a statement.
