Homegrown theatre company Dama Asia Productions has launched a sweeping 20th-anniversary revival of Butterfly Lovers – The Musical.
The production anchors the highly anticipated inaugural season of Malaysia’s newest state-of-the-art mega-facility, the RM200 million Jeffrey Cheah Performing Arts Centre (JCPAC) in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
Behind the standard marketing beats lies a deep intersection of local artistic survival and cutting-edge engineering.
This landmark run serves as both a milestone celebration for a rescued local orchestra and the ultimate high-stakes acoustic field test for the country’s most advanced architectural audio installation.
