DOHA, Nov 7 — Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil is scheduled to begin his itinerary today with engagements with the Malaysian community, including sporting activities and a meeting with the diaspora, before meeting with the Malaysian delegation ahead of the 2026 International Telecommunication Union Plenipotentiary Conference (ITU PP-26).
He is expected to start the day’s engagements with a breakfast meeting with Malaysia’s Ambassador to Qatar, Faizal Razali, before officiating at the bowling competition organised in conjunction with the 2026 Malaysian Games in Qatar (Suqma).
At the ceremony, Fahmi is set to speak before joining Malaysia’s Ambassador and the Malaysia Association in Qatar (MAQ) president, Dr Mohd Faris Khamidi, in the ceremonial first bowl to mark the official opening.
