Jalan Batu Arang-Ijok near Fruit Valley in Rawang has been closed to all traffic in both directions following a slope failure and structural road collapse.

KUALA LUMPUR: Jalan Batu Arang-Ijok near the 32nd Mile, in the vicinity of Fruit Valley, Rawang, has been closed to all vehicles in both directions following a landslide that occurred on Thursday.

Gombak district police chief ACP Ibrahim Husin said his department received a report on the incident at about 11 pm.

“Preliminary investigations conducted by the police and the Batu Arang Fire and Rescue Department at the scene revealed a landslide caused by the failure of both the upper and lower slopes, as well as a portion of the road structure.
