Two step-sisters, aged 18 and six, died while two others were injured after their vehicle skidded and crashed into a road barrier at KM388 of the North-South Expressway southbound near Tanjong Malim.
IPOH: Two step-siblings died when the vehicle they were in skidded in an accident at Kilometre 388 of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) southbound, near Tanjong Malim today.
Muallim district police chief Supt Khalid Mohamad said an 18-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene, while a six-year-old girl who suffered severe injuries died while receiving treatment at the Slim River Hospital.
He said the driver, a 27-year-old man, and another female passenger, aged 20, sustained injuries and were taken to the same hospital for further treatment.
