Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has urged the Home Ministry, Education Ministry, and Health Ministry to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and information-sharing to tackle school security challenges and protect over five million students nationwide.
KULIM: The Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), the Ministry of Education (MOE), and the Ministry of Health (MOH) must strengthen their cooperation and information-sharing to address various security issues and create a safe school ecosystem.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said these three ministries cannot work in isolation when dealing with the various issues that arise within schools.
He noted that this necessity was among the matters discussed during a meeting of the Police-Ministry of Education Consultative Committee, held last week at the Police Training Centre (PULAPOL).
