JAKARTA: Indonesia's Constitutional Court has ruled that incomplete education documents submitted by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka before the 2024 election did not disqualify him from office, saying that questions about his eligibility were the responsibility of other institutions.
Petitioners in the case against Gibran, the son of former President Joko Widodo, had argued that his foreign senior high school credentials did not meet legal requirements for vice-presidential candidates and were improperly accepted by election officials.
