KOTA BARU: The nurse who was stabbed six times by her husband at their home in Kampung Padang Lepai near Kadok on Monday is now in stable condition.
Her daughter, 19, said her mother regained consciousness yesterday afternoon but remained under close observation at Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital (HRPZ II).
"According to the doctors, my mother's condition started to stabilise today, but she still requires close monitoring by the hospital.
"My siblings and other family members take turns staying with her at the hospital," said the student, the eldest of three siblings.
She said her mother had also started speaking, although she remained weak.
