PONTIAN: The Johor Education Department will provide counselling and psychosocial support to pupils, teachers and staff after three siblings were killed in a crash involving their motorcycle and a lorry.
Johor Education and Information Committee chairman Dr Muhammad Naqib Md Ghazali said the support would be provided through the District Education Office.
Earlier, Naqib visited the Pontian Hospital forensic unit and the victims' family to offer his condolences.
The victims were two pupils, Puteri Naufa Raisha Norlizan, eight, and Nordaniel Fikri Norlizan, 11, and their 18-year-old brother, Nordanial Aiman Norlizan.
The two pupils were reported to have gone to school despite a two-day school closure in Johor following deteriorating air quality caused by haze, accompanied by their brother, who was riding a motorcycle.
