KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 — Malaysian singer-songwriter Aina Abdul has unveiled Bluest Sky, an emotional English-language power ballad she will perform as Malaysia’s representative at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 14.
Described by Aina as a love letter to someone she sees as her “bluest sky”, the song explores love, heartbreak and uncertainty, with a message of hope that even the deepest sadness will eventually pass.
“The way I sing this song, or the person I wrote it about, I see him as the bluest sky.
“So, in a way, this song is my love letter to that person,” she said during an exclusive listening session at Rex KL in Petaling Street here today.
The event brought together members of the media and some of her closest fans, who were among the first to hear the song she will take to the international competition.
