PUTRAJAYA: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar is confident civil servants are ready to ensure government policies, including Budget 2027, are implemented swiftly and effectively.
He said the commitment of all civil servants was crucial to ensuring that the people could share the benefits of economic growth.
"For all civil servants, I am confident that we are always ready to shoulder these trusts and responsibilities as a National Covenant and continue to support government policies through swift and effective implementation, to ensure that the extraordinary benefits of economic growth can be felt by all," he said in a statement today.
Shamsul Azri also expressed his appreciation to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who is also Finance Minister, for tabling Budget 2027 in the Dewan Rakyat today.
