KUCHING: Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak Datuk Azizah Nawawi heads the list of recipients of state honours, awards and medals in conjunction with the 80th birthday celebration of Sarawak Governor Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar today.

She was conferred the Darjah Panglima Negara Bintang Sarawak (PNBS), which carries the title Datuk Seri.

Also receiving the PNBS were Dewan Negara president Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) pro-chancellor Datuk Abdul Wahab Aziz and ABM Fujiya Berhad chairman Datuk Tay Ah Ching @ Tay Chin Kin.

A total of 1,350 individuals received state honours in conjunction with the celebration.
