KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Auto Malaysia will recall affected Omoda 5 vehicles, variants C and H, following a recent incident involving the model.
The company said the recall campaign would involve vehicle inspections and replacement of affected components where necessary.
Owners can check whether their vehicles are affected by entering their Vehicle Identification Number on Chery Malaysia's website.
"All inspections and necessary follow-up actions, including component replacement, will be carried out free of charge," it said in a statement today.
