KUALA LUMPUR: Police have launched an investigation into the failure to transfer more than RM230.9 million in government revenue collections involving two companies under the MyEG Group.
Federal Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the investigation involved MY E.G. Sdn Bhd and Zetrix AI Berhad following a police report lodged on Oct 7.
He said the case was being investigated under Section 409 of the Penal Code for criminal breach of trust.
"The investigation concerns the suspected failure to transfer government revenue collections amounting to RM230,913,503.55 involving the two companies," he said in a statement.
