KUCHING, Oct 16: Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang has reaffirmed his readiness to continue serving in the Premier’s Department, while taking aim at Padungan assemblyman Chong Chieng Jen opposition to the development projects for Bumiputera.
He said his willingness to continue serving was subject to the decision of the party leadership, reaffirming his commitment to rural communities as Sarawak approaches the 13th State Election.
“Subject to the party leadership’s decision, I am ready to continue serving in the Premier’s team.
“My commitment remains clear: to serve faithfully, accelerate rural development and ensure that Tamin’s voice is heard,” he said when debating the Sarawak Supply Bill 2027 at the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) sitting today.
