PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh accused Pejuang president Mukhriz Mahathir of using unverified material to falsely implicate PKR in PN’s deregistration.PETALING JAYA: PKR has demanded that Pejuang president Mukhriz Mahathir apologise for claiming that plans to suspend and deregister Perikatan Nasional (PN) were presented at PKR’s national congress in August.
Mukhriz had shared screenshots of four alleged proposals on his social media accounts, including suspending PN’s activities and taking legal action to deregister the coalition.
In a statement, PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh accused Mukhriz of using unverified material to falsely implicate PKR in PN’s deregistration.
“The slides Mukhriz shared on his Instagram and Threads accounts were never presented at any PKR congress or convention, nor were they prepared by anyone in the party,” said Fuziah.
