BATU PAHAT: French cyclist Ronan Auge is doing well after suffering "a big crash" in the Le Tour de Langkawi road race yesterday, which resulted in him being placed in a medically induced coma to stabilise his condition.
Joram Grootveld, sports director of his team Unibet Rose Rockets, said 22-year-old Auge crashed at the beginning of the Pandan Indah-Rembau stage yesterday. "It was such a big crash that we needed to get him to hospital very quickly. They placed him in a medically induced coma to ensure his condition stays stable," he said.
