(Wikimedia Commons pic)PETALING JAYA: A former teacher claimed trial in two separate courts in Kemaman, Terengganu, to charges of raping and outraging the modesty of his stepdaughter in 2023 and 2024.
The accused, 59, pleaded not guilty before sessions court judge Wan Suhaila Mohd and magistrate Marsha Abdul Malik, Harian Metro reported.
In the sessions court, he is accused of raping his stepdaughter, then 25, at a shophouse in Kemasik at about 2.20pm on May 20, 2024.
At the magistrates' court, he is accused of touching and groping her in her room at a house in Kijal between 12.45am and 1am in October 2023.
