Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How left Parti Sarawak Bersatu in 2022 and became an independent representative in the state assembly.PETALING JAYA: Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How has applied to join the Sarawak United Peoples' Party (SUPP), more than four years after representing the constituency as an independent.
SUPP is a component of Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS), the state’s ruling coalition.
See's application form was submitted to SUPP central organising secretary Matthew Chen today and witnessed by party president Dr Sim Kui Hian, the Dayak Daily reported.
In January, See stated that he would not sign up with any political party until the state assembly was dissolved, following speculation that he would join SUPP.
