KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 — A total of 25,464 participants in the MyLesen B2 Programme have completed their training and obtained their Class B2 Probationary Driving Licence (PDL), representing about 85 per cent of this year’s target.

The Ministry of Transport (MOT) said the government had allocated RM11.186 million to provide 30,000 places under the programme.

It said 30,660 individuals had been offered places and agreed to participate, exceeding the target by 2.2 per cent, while 28,785 had registered at driving institutes.

“Implementation in 11 states has reached 100 per cent, while the remaining participants in other states are completing their training and tests before the programme concludes on Oct 31, 2026,” the ministry said in a written parliamentary reply published on Parliament’s website.
