KUALA TERENGGANU, Oct 28 — Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) needs to explain how it intends to use the Perikatan Nasional (PN) logo in the upcoming Melaka state election, PN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said.
The Terengganu menteri besar said the PN chairman was the person the Election Commission (EC) notified as the authorised signatory for using the coalition’s logo.
“So how does Bersatu intend to contest using the PN logo? You have to ask Bersatu how it plans to use the logo,” he told reporters after the Terengganu Biodiversity Seminar here today, while stressing that PN would continue to use its own logo in future elections.
Bersatu is embroiled in a dispute with the coalition following disagreements over its position within PN and a complaint lodged with the Registrar of Societies (RoS) over alleged exclusion from a coalition meeting.
