JASIN: DAP grassroots members in Bemban today expressed disappointment over Pakatan Harapan's (PH) decision not to field a candidate in the state seat ahead of nomination day this Saturday.
In a statement issued through the Bemban DAP service centre, party members and supporters appealed to DAP and PH leaders to reconsider, taking into account grassroots sentiment and the constituency's voting record.
They said the disappointment extended to other parts of the Jasin parliamentary constituency, where Bemban is the only state seat contested by DAP.
"The decision has left many supporters and grassroots members feeling that their voices and efforts to strengthen support for DAP and PH have not been given due consideration," the statement said.
