HULU SELANGOR: The headmaster of SK Hulu Bernam was killed after his car hit a wild boar and collided with a lorry on Jalan Kuala Lumpur-Ipoh near a petrol station in Kalumpang this morning.

Hulu Selangor police chief Superintendent M. Manimaran said the accident occurred around 7.15am while Harman Harun was driving from Batang Kali towards Hulu Bernam.

He said initial investigations found that he had hit a wild boar which was crossing the road before losing control and entering the opposite lane.

"The driver of an empty lorry travelling in the opposite direction, a man in his 30s, was unable to avoid the car and collided with it," he said in a statement.
