IPOH: "I know that no sentence imposed by the court can bring my son back to us."
Those were the poignant words of Muhd Zamrie Zainal Abidin, 58, father of Muhammad Zaharif Affendi Muhd Zamrie, 17, who was killed in an incident involving senior police officer Deputy Superintendent Mohd Nazri Abdul Razak, 47, in December 2023.
Zamrie said the tragedy had left a deep and lasting impact on his family, robbing them not only of a beloved son but also of the future they had hoped to share with him.
"My son was still young and had a bright future ahead of him. At his age, he should have been given the chance to live his life, pursue his ambitions, build a career and enjoy the future with his family.
