KUALA LUMPUR: Drug syndicates are renting luxury condominiums with tight security to hide their operations and evade police.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the properties were used to store drugs before they were moved elsewhere for distribution.
He said the condominiums' strict security arrangements made it harder for police to gain access during raids.
