MARAN: A motorcyclist in his 30s was killed after riding against traffic and colliding head-on with a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) at Km 59 of Jalan Kuantan-Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
The victim was riding alone when the accident occurred about 4pm.
Maran police chief Superintendent Wong Kim Wai said the accident involved a Honda Wave motorcycle and a Toyota Vellfire.
"The Toyota driver was travelling from Kuantan towards Sri Jaya when a motorcyclist riding against the flow of traffic collided with his vehicle.
