Shuhaily Zain, the former head of Bukit Aman’s criminal investigation department, was seconded to AKPS as its director-general on July 1 last year.PUTRAJAYA: Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS) director-general Shuhaily Zain will return to the police force, home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said today.
He said the decision to end Shuhaily’s secondment to AKPS and return him to the police force was made last week.
Shuhaily, the former head of Bukit Aman’s criminal investigation department, was seconded to AKPS as its director-general on July 1 last year.
“He is a police officer seconded to AKPS... So we are returning him to the police force,” Saifuddin told reporters at an event here.
