Justice Choo Kah Sing said Rosli Dahlan demonstrated a prima facie arguable case that the freeze orders might have been affected by mala fide, collateral purpose, irrationality or abuse of power. (Bernama pic)PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has allowed lawyer Rosli Dahlan to challenge the decision by the police and government to freeze four of his Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) accounts over money laundering claims.
Justice Choo Kah Sing granted Rosli leave to pursue his judicial review of the action by the police and the government, saying his bid against the authorities could not fairly be characterised as frivolous or vexatious.
The High Court denied Rosli's judicial review bid in 2024, saying the accounts were seized as part of money laundering investigations.
