Attorney-general Dusuki Mokhtar said no specific deadline had been set for payment of the fine.

“So far, the information we have received indicates that Datuk Seri Najib has yet to fulfil the requirement, as of now,” he told reporters after attending an event here today.

Asked whether Najib would still have to serve his prison sentence as long as the fine remained unpaid, Dusuki confirmed that this was the case.
