KOTA BARU: Former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has yet to pay the RM50 million fine required for him to serve the remainder of his prison sentence under house arrest until 2028.

However, Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohd Dusuki Mokhtar said no deadline had been set for payment of the fine.

"So far, the information we have received is that Datuk Seri Najib has yet to fulfil the requirement.

"As long as the fine remains unpaid, Datuk Seri Najib will remain in prison," he said after the launch of the Attorney-General's Chambers' Madani Adopted School Programme at Sekolah Kebangsaan Pasir Hor here today.
