Johor Bahru Utara police said the 18-year-old victim was found conscious on the pavement beside the building. She is believed to have suffered a seizure while peering down over the staircase wall, said acting district police chief Azrol Anuar Nor.
"She suffered injuries to the back of the head as well as to the neck, left wrist and right leg, and is currently receiving treatment in hospital," he said in a statement today.
