KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim congratulated and thanked all staff, organisers, and motorsports fans for successfully hosting the 2026 Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix (GP), which ended yesterday at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC).

In a post on his official Facebook page, Anwar described this year's edition as thrilling and vibrant, featuring fierce competition among the world's top riders and memorable moments throughout the event.

“Congratulations to all winners and participating riders. Thank you also to all personnel, organisers, volunteers, and fans for their effort and support in making it successful.

“May the excitement and spirit of motorsports such as MotoGP continue to inspire more young people to fly the Malaysian flag high! See you again at Sepang,” he said.
