(Facebook pic)KUALA LUMPUR: Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (Muda-Muar) today defended the confidence and supply agreement (CSA) he signed with the government last week, saying it provides an avenue to push for two key institutional reforms.

He said the agreement was important not only to ensure fair and equitable constituency allocations for the MPs involved, but also to reduce the concentration of power in the prime minister's hands.

Under the CSA, the government vowed to limit the prime minister’s tenure and separate the roles of the attorney-general (AG) and public prosecutor before the end of its term.
