SHAH ALAM: About 70,000 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2026 candidates in Selangor will receive free breakfast throughout the examination period under an expanded state nutrition programme.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said the initiative was aimed at helping candidates perform better in their examinations while providing support and boosting their morale.

"The state government is finalising arrangements to provide meals for 70,000 SPM candidates, who began sitting their examinations late last month.

"During the examination period, we will provide breakfast or suitable meals for these students. The implementation details will be announced soon," he told reporters after the symbolic handover ceremony for the Nutrisel and Mega Nutrisel 2026 programmes here today.
