(EPA Images pic)TEHRAN: Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson Majed al-Ansari says efforts to bridge differences between Tehran and Washington are ongoing, with both sides reviewing proposals and regional countries coordinating to achieve a diplomatic solution, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported, citing Doha-based Al Jazeera television on Tuesday.
“Efforts to bridge the gap between the two sides of the crisis, the US and Iran, are still ongoing,” Ansari said at a news briefing.
He said Washington and Tehran are considering proposals presented as part of efforts to develop the conditions needed to reach an agreement.
