ALOR SETAR: Checks by the domestic trade and cost of living ministry at 11 petrol stations in Kedah today found no indication of water in RON95 petrol following viral claims that the fuel had been mixed with water.
The ministry's Kedah director, Nizam Jamaludin, said the inspections followed public complaints that vehicles had broken down after refuelling at certain stations.
“The ministry's enforcement teams conducted inspections at 11 petrol stations today and took fuel samples from the tanks or pumps involved for further analysis.
