KUALA LUMPUR: The government has been urged to make public the Confidence and Supply Agreement (CSA) signed by 13 opposition members of parliament on Oct 31, particularly details on allocations, disbursement mechanisms and implementation.

Perikatan Nasional Chief Whip Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said disclosure was necessary to ensure transparency and accountability, especially as the other 62 opposition MPs had not been offered a CSA.

He said the move should follow the precedent set by the September 2021 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Transformation and Political Stability between the Federal Government and Pakatan Harapan.

Takiyuddin said the MoU, signed on Sept 13, 2021, explicitly required its contents to be made public as a commitment to openness.
