You need not be a Rafizi Ramli enthusiast to accept that after Anwar Ibrahim vacates the role of Pakatan Harapan (PH) supremo or is obliged to do so from GE16 failure, there is no one else to take up the position.
This point is best made by former PKR youth religious leader Wan Ji Wan Hussin who in recent remarks opined that there is a void in PKR (and by extension, PH) as to who should re-take the reins of leading the movement for reform in the country.
Wan Ji held that prior to his leaving PKR last May, Rafizi provided the analytical framework and political messaging for PKR and, by implication, for PH.
He observed that Rafizi’s energy and ability to simplify complex matters equipped him for the role of standard bearer of the reformasi movement.
