Melaka BN chairman Ab Rauf Yusoh at the coalition's operation room in Kesidang today.HANG TUAH JAYA: Barisan Nasional is optimistic that its cooperation with Perikatan Nasional can help it wrest the Kesidang seat from DAP in the Melaka election and strengthen the coalition’s prospects of returning to Putrajaya.

Melaka BN chairman Ab Rauf Yusoh said the cooperation between BN and PN under Muafakat Melaka could bring a new dimension to state politics by uniting people from different backgrounds in the interest of stability.

The chief minister expressed confidence that PN candidate Albert Kok, a Kesidang native, could serve the area’s residents well if elected on Nov 14.

“We (BN) used to represent this constituency, but we lost it for two terms,” he said after visiting BN’s operation room in Kesidang today.
