KUCHING, Nov 8: Sarawak must have clear plans and policies to gain support for its aspirations, as its struggle is ultimately about securing a better future for the people, says Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
He said Sarawak could not expect others to support its aspirations without having clear objectives and policies to demonstrate what it wanted to achieve.
“We must have plans because others will not support us if we have nothing. But when we have policies, our struggle is essentially for the people,” he said.
He said this at the launch of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Election Machinery at Dewan Kampung Melayu Stakan today.
