23-year-old dies in fall from 23rd floor hotel room

District police chief Abdul Rozak Muhammad said the victim is believed to have fallen from the balcony of his room.GEORGE TOWN: A 23-year-old man was found dead at the foot of a hotel in Bayan Lepas early today, and is believed to have fallen from the balcony of his room on the 23rd floor.

District police chief Abdul Rozak Muhammad said the body of the man, who was from Bayan Lepas, was found by a hotel employee at 6.40am.

Investigations found that the victim is believed to have fallen from the balcony of his room. There was no evidence of foul play, he said.

The case had been classified as one of sudden death pending further investigations.
