KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 — A total of RM41.5 billion in investments were approved for Negeri Sembilan from 2023 to June 2026 under the purview of the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry (Miti) and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida), with the potential to create 14,953 job opportunities.

Miti said domestic investments accounted for RM24.2 billion, or 58 per cent, while foreign investments amounted to RM17.3 billion, or 42 per cent.

The manufacturing sector was the largest contributor, with RM22 billion in investments, or 53 per cent. This was followed by the services sector with RM19.5 billion (46.9 per cent) and the primary sector with RM670,000 (0.1 per cent), Miti said in a written reply on the Parliament website today.
