KUALA LUMPUR: Machang member of parliament Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal was rushed to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) for emergency treatment today.
His private secretary, Wan Meor Safwat Naqiuddin Shamsudin, said Wan Fayhsal had been admitted and was in stable condition.
He said doctors advised the lawmaker to rest until he had fully recovered.
"We ask everyone to pray for Wan Fayhsal's recovery and return to good health," he said in a statement.
The statement did not disclose the reason for Wan Fayhsal's emergency treatment.
