PETALING JAYA: Bersatu assemblymen in Selangor will sign a pact, similar to 2021’s confidence and supply agreement between former prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and the opposition, with the state government before the state budget is tabled.

Menteri besar Amirudin Shari said the state government and the opposition were still finalising the terms, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“The talks are not over yet,” Amirudin, who is also the state Pakatan Harapan chairman, was quoted as saying.

The Selangor government is expected to table its 2027 budget in November.
